After recently performing their 1,000th show, the American jazz-swing collective Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox are bringing their Magic & Moonlight world tour to Australia in 2025.
Renowned for reworking the world’s biggest pop, rock, hip hop and EDM classics into jazz, swing, Motown and doo-wop versions, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will headline concerts in Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Gold Coast and Brisbane next February.
“If we’ve learned anything from ten years of touring the world, it’s that great music has the ability to transcend time and space in a way that is best described as ‘magic’,” Postmodern Jukebox creator and show director, Scott Bradlee says.
“In fact, all of us likely have a song or two that instantly transports us to another place. Our Moonlight & Magic world tour is meant to celebrate this phenomenon through breathtaking live performances that will be remembered long after the curtain falls.”
Expect to enter a parallel musical universe where some of the earworms and iconic pop songs from the past few decades are reimagined in earlier genres. The whole show is tied together with a cast of outstanding singers, dancers and instrumentalists.
A TEG Dainty pre-sale will begin on Thursday June 27 at 10am (local time).
Tickets to the general public will go on sale on Friday June 28 at 10am (local time).
