Legendary British rockers 0cc are bringing their “Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour” to Australia in 2025, giving fans the opportunity to see them play their most memorable hits live.
They’ll be bringing their tour to three venues in Victoria in July and August 2025 – Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on 30 July, Geelong’s Playhouse on 31 July, and The Palais in St Kilda on 1 August.
10cc gained prominence in the 1970s, known for their innovative approach to music and witty, often satirical lyrics.
The band’s music spans various genres, blending elements of pop, rock, art rock, and even progressive rock, making them difficult to categorize but widely admired for their versatility.
10cc’s most famous hit, “I’m Not in Love” (1975), showcases their sophisticated production techniques, particularly the innovative use of multi-tracked vocals to create a lush, ethereal sound. The song became a global hit, cementing their place in music history. Other notable tracks include “Rubber Bullets,” “The Things We Do for Love,” and “Dreadlock Holiday.”
The band’s success was fueled by their ability to balance commercial appeal with artistic experimentation.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on August 21st. For more information and to secure tickets, visit www.davidroywilliams.com.
