Maho Magic Bar, the Japanese magic bar that dazzled Melbourne audiences in 2023, is set to return this spring with a fresh line-up of tricksters, illusions and cocktails.
The immersive experience will run from Tuesday 25 November 2025 to Sunday 15 February 2026 at Spiegel Haus Melbourne, a new two-level entertainment precinct on Lonsdale Street.

Presented by Broad Encounters, Maho Magic Bar invites guests into a neon-lit Tokyo-inspired space where Japan’s sleight-of-hand masters perform at close range. Audiences can expect mischief, laughter, and a revolving repertoire of jaw-dropping tricks while enjoying a menu of premium Japanese cocktails and non-alcoholic options.

“Maho Magic Bar found a home in Melbourne in 2023 and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be bringing it back this spring with a fresh line-up of prodigies who each bring oodles of charm and contemporary sleight-of-hand flair,” said Broad Encounters Creative Director, Kirsten Siddle. “You couldn’t ask for a better night out in ‘Tokyo’ without leaving Melbourne!”

The 2025 season will feature returning favourites alongside new performers, each bringing their own unique style rooted in Japanese magic traditions dating back to the Edo period. With every magician offering a distinct repertoire, no two visits will ever be the same.
This year, the bar takes up residency at Spiegel Haus Melbourne, a brand-new venue boasting multiple performance spaces, a rooftop lounge and bar. Opening in October 2025, the precinct aims to become a hub for innovative entertainment in the CBD.
Tickets start from $71 and are available now via mahomagicbar.com.
