After years of anticipation, BTS have confirmed their full-scale return to the stage, unveiling a massive world tour set to run from April 2026 through to March 2027.
The announcement confirms what fans have been waiting to hear: 2026 marks the official comeback year for the global supergroup. The tour arrives alongside new music, with a full group release scheduled for March 20, marking BTS’s first album together since their extended hiatus.
The world tour launches in Goyang, South Korea on April 9, before heading across Asia, Europe, North America and South America. Multiple-night runs are planned in every city, with stops confirmed in Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Busan, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, East Rutherford, Buenos Aires, Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Manila. While venues have not yet been announced, the scale of the routing strongly points to stadium shows.
Melbourne’s inclusion puts Australia firmly on the comeback map, with local fans expected to travel interstate and overseas to secure tickets. More dates are also expected to be added as demand ramps up.
Ticket access will roll out in stages, with ARMY Membership holders able to purchase tickets on January 22 and 23 in their local regions. A general sale will follow on January 24.
The group has been back in the studio since July, teasing an album shaped by each member’s individual experiences. “We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else,” RM shared earlier this year, while Jimin added, “The year we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived.” V also hinted at what’s ahead, saying, “In 2026, we’ll make even more good memories, so look forward to it!”
During their time apart, each member developed their own sound through solo releases and tours, skills they’re now bringing back into the group. “We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” BTS said in July.
Australian fans can register for the waitlist now as the countdown to one of the biggest tours in recent memory begins.
