Irish folk outfit The High Kings are heading back to Australia this October, following a breakout year that has pushed their music to new global audiences.
The Rocky Road Tour arrives off the back of the band’s 2025 Australian run, with demand continuing to build after their traditional tracks ‘The Rocky Road to Dublin’ and ‘Go Lassie Go’ found new life on the big screen in Sinners. The renewed attention has introduced the Dublin group to a wider audience, helping fuel a surge in streaming and live interest.
Victorian fans will be first to catch the tour, with four shows lined up across the state. The run begins at Hamer Hall on Friday 9 October, before heading to Costa Hall on Saturday 10 October. From there, the band will play Ballarat Civic Hall on Sunday 11 October and Frankston Arts Centre on Monday 12 October.

Formed in Dublin in 2008, The High Kings have built a reputation as modern custodians of Irish folk, blending traditional ballads with contemporary energy. Across nearly two decades, they have released five studio albums and four live records, building a loyal international following along the way, particularly in Australia.
The current lineup of Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden and Paul O’Brien has spent recent years on the road, selling out venues across multiple continents and performing at major stages including Glastonbury Festival and Isle of Wight Festival.
With streaming numbers climbing and audiences growing, the upcoming tour is shaping as their biggest Australian visit yet, promising a lively, singalong-heavy celebration of Irish music and storytelling.
