Chocolate Starfish are heading back on the road with a new tour built around fresh material and a catalogue of crowd favourites, with regional audiences firmly in focus.
The band confirmed their All Fired Up Classic Hits Tour this week, following a strong response to their latest single, a cover of the Pat Benatar track All Fired Up. The run of shows will mix new music with the band’s well-known hits, alongside a setlist packed with high-energy covers.
“We are excited to announce our ALL Fired Up Tour, due to the exceptional response to our All Fired Up single release,” the band wrote on social media.
“This time, we are sharing the love with our regional fans who have waited patiently,” the band wrote.
The tour kicks off in Caloundra on Friday 3 July before travelling across the country, hitting a long list of regional centres including Bundaberg, Wyong, Belmont, Tweed Heads and Bateman’s Bay. Victorian fans will be able to catch the band in Geelong, as well as later dates in Bendigo and Frankston, where the tour wraps on Saturday 17 October.
“This is the FULL Tour everyone, and we sought to give other towns an opportunity and hope you all understand we cannot be in everyone’s hometown.”
Alongside their latest single, fans can expect a mix of covers spanning artists like Carly Simon, INXS and Meat Loaf, delivered in the band’s signature live style that has kept them a staple on Australian stages for decades.
Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am AEDT on Thursday 2 April via the band’s website.
