Life Hub has officially opened Life Hub Bayside, unveiling what it describes as its most ambitious project yet in Melbourne’s south‑east. The new coach‑led performance lifestyle community at Bayside Junction brings training, movement, recovery and social connection together in one location, marking a major expansion for the Victorian‑born business.
At the centre of the facility is one of Australia’s largest dedicated group strength and conditioning spaces, supported by an integrated ecosystem that includes Infrared Heated Mat Classes, Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Breathwork, Bathhouse and Recovery Experiences, a 24/7 members gym, allied health services and community areas.
The model reflects Life Hub’s long‑held belief that people achieve better outcomes when training, movement and recovery work together, a concept the business frames as a Performance Lifestyle Community.
Founder Chris Cannon said the idea grew from his own experience. “I’ve been a trainer for 20 years, and in many ways Life Hub became the place I wished I’d had access to when I was struggling with my own physical and mental wellbeing,” he said.
He added that lasting change “is rarely about knowing what to do. It’s about creating an environment that helps people keep showing up.”
Cannon said the community‑first approach is central to the design. “When people train alongside others who are committed to improving themselves, something powerful happens. They challenge each other, encourage each other and often achieve more than they thought possible.” He said the goal is simple: “to help people feel their best so they can perform at their best in every area of life.”
Life Hub Bayside also expands the brand’s recovery offering, with a traditional sauna, magnesium mineral spa, cold pool, infrared saunas and compression recovery forming part of members’ weekly routines. The facility includes physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, pre and postnatal support and one‑on‑one coaching, supporting what Life Hub calls Athletes of Life.
The business, which opened its first Moorabbin location in 2014 and expanded to Geelong in 2023, has grown largely through member advocacy. Its community culture was recognised when it was named Mindbody’s Best Vibe Studio in 2025.
