90s rock fans are in for a big day out, with LOOKOUT returning to Melbourne in 2027 with a line-up featuring +LIVE+, Stone Temple Pilots and 4 Non Blondes.
The alternative rock heavyweights will co-headline the festival at Bendigo Racecourse on Sunday 7 March, Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, 11 March and Mornington Racecourse on Saturday 13 March with Geelong favourites Magic Dirt also joining the bill.
The tour will celebrate some of the biggest alternative rock songs of the era, bringing together bands responsible for some of the decade’s most recognisable anthems.
+LIVE+ will return with a catalogue that includes “Lightning Crashes”, “I Alone”, “All Over You” and “Lakini’s Juice”. The band has sold more than 23 million albums worldwide, with Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi both reaching number one on the Billboard Top 200.
Throwing Copper went on to sell more than 10 million copies, while The Distance to Here helped establish +LIVE+ as an international arena and stadium act.
Stone Temple Pilots will also bring more than three decades of rock history to the stage. The band’s 1992 debut album Core reached number three on the Billboard 200 and delivered hits including “Sex Type Thing”, “Wicked Garden” and Grammy Award-winning single “Plush”.
The band has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide and most recently released Perdida in 2020, featuring vocalist Jeff Gutt.
The line-up will also mark the return of 4 Non Blondes, who reunited in 2025 for the first time in more than 33 years.
Fronted by Linda Perry, the band is best known for its enduring anthem “What’s Up?”, which has enjoyed a fresh resurgence in recent years. The song’s 2025 TikTok revival generated more than 15 billion views and inspired more than 5.4 million user-created videos.
4 Non Blondes have also confirmed plans to release a new studio album in 2027, their first since Bigger, Better, Faster, More!
Rounding out the Australian bill is Magic Dirt, the influential Geelong alternative rock band formed in 1991 and known for its high-energy live shows.
