Gumbuya World is gearing up for the spring school holidays with two weeks of rides, wildlife encounters, live entertainment and family activities, with Family Fest running from 19 September to 4 October.
The Tynong North theme park will offer a different experience across each week, with a Bonus Water weekend kicking things off on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September. Guests can access the water park from 12pm to 3pm, including the slides, lazy river, rock pools and Typhoon Island. The wave pool and Surf’s Up will remain closed.
Week one will continue after dark with Twilight Sessions on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September. The Friday session will include a screening of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King under the stars, while Saturday will feature evening rides, wildlife and the Wildlife Trail.
The second week will turn prehistoric, with Real Dinosaurs taking over the park from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October. The program includes a life-sized Dinosaur Show and Dino Meet and Greets.
Families can also explore Gumbuya World’s Wildlife Wanderers program throughout the holidays, with Rangers leading mystery animal encounters, origami activities and more. Selected dates will also feature Wildlife by Night, offering after-dark encounters with Masked Owls, Pythons, Wombats, Tasmanian Devils, Squirrel Gliders and Kangaroos.
Early release tickets are available until 11.59pm on Sunday 13 September, starting at $29 for junior and senior admission and $39 for general admission. Toddlers under 90cm and Annual Pass holders enter free.
