International hit The Choir of Man will return to Melbourne from 3 to 21 February 2027, bringing its mix of live music, dancing and pub-style entertainment to Crown LIVE in Southbank.
Set inside a traditional English pub, the 110-minute production brings nine performers together for a lively night of storytelling, banter and singalong favourites, with a working beer tap at the centre of the action.
The soundtrack spans Queen, Adele, Sia, Paul Simon, Guns N’ Roses, Avicii, Katy Perry and Australian music legend John Farnham, making the show a mix of pub classics, rock anthems and Broadway favourites.
The Melbourne season follows sold-out tours across the US and Europe and a four-year West End run, where more than 280,000 people attended 1,000 performances. The production has also enjoyed three consecutive sell-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House and received a nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play at the 2022 Olivier Awards.
The cast includes Mark Loveday as the Barman, alongside Ifan Gwilym-Jones as Maestro, Cal T King as Beast and Conor Mellor as Joker.
Crown LIVE, the city’s newest premium entertainment venue, offers an intimate 1,250-seat theatre, with restaurants, bars and a Yarra-facing balcony providing options for a pre-show drink or a night out after the performance.
Critics have praised the production as “a dazzling triumph” and “undoubtedly the most feel-good show”.
Tickets start at $69.90, with performances running from 3 to 21 February 2027. The show runs for approximately 120 minutes, including a 20-minute interval. Book tickets and find more information at https://thechoirofman.com/.
