The countdown to one of Victoria’s most beloved music festivals has begun, with the ballot for Meredith 34 now open ahead of its return this December.
Set to take place from 11 to 13 December 2026, Meredith 34 will once again transform the Supernatural Amphitheatre on Wadawurrung Country into a weekend of live music, camping and community. Remaining true to its long-running format, the festival continues to embrace its single-stage setup, with no plans to expand or reinvent the event that has attracted devoted festivalgoers for decades.
As in previous years, tickets are being allocated through the Meredith ballot rather than a traditional on-sale, giving hopeful attendees the chance to secure a place before the lineup is even revealed. The festival has built a reputation for keeping its artists under wraps until much closer to the event, with many regulars choosing to attend for the overall experience as much as the music itself.
Festival organisers are also reminding entrants to use just one email address per household when entering the ballot. Those who have signed up using multiple email addresses in previous years are encouraged to consolidate their accounts before entries close, as a scattered ballot history could affect their chances.
Ticket prices include camping, parking and BYO, making it one of Australia’s few major festivals to continue offering an all-inclusive weekend experience.
The initial ballot closes at 10.34pm AEST on 10 August, with a second ballot to follow for subscribers if tickets remain available.
