Spring is about to paint the Yarra Valley pink with CherryHill Orchards rolling out a series of dreamy cherry blossom experiences you won’t want to miss. From daytime picnics to sparkling night lights, this is your chance to wander through rows of blossoms and soak up the season in style.
The fun kicks off with Bloom & Graze in Coldstream over two weekends, 6-7 and 13-14 September. Think 100 acres of cherry trees just beginning to bloom, paired with a bustling makers’ market, live acoustic sets, and hands-on workshops.
Browse stalls from The Botanical Brothers, Four Pillars, Yarra Valley Dairy and more, then snack your way through food trucks and cherry-inspired treats (yes, there’s cherry ice cream). Dogs are welcome too, so your four-legged mate can join the adventure.
If you prefer your blossoms under the stars, head to Wandin East for Blossom by Light on 19-22 September. As night falls, the orchard will transform into a glowing wonderland of illuminated cherry trees. Warm up by the fire pit with marshmallows, sip on wine from Balgownie and Giant Steps, and enjoy live entertainment.
From 24 September-5 October the spotlight is on the classic Blossom Festival at Wandin. This is the orchard’s signature celebration, with blossoms in their fleeting full glory. Take a stroll that feels straight out of Japan, book a professional photo shoot, or simply roll out a picnic rug and soak it all in. Food trucks, cherry drinks, grazing boxes, and weekend entertainment round out the experience – and yes, dogs are welcome here too.
Tickets start from $15, with Blossom by Light priced at $35. A small price for a big dose of spring magic. More information here.
