Melbourne is set to welcome a new tradition with the launch of New Year’s at the Bowl, a large-scale two-day festival taking over the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the surrounding King’s Domain gardens.
Presented by Live Nation, this ambitious event will transform one of Australia’s most loved outdoor venues into a celebration space to close out 2025 and usher in 2026, balancing high-energy performances on New Year’s Eve with a more laid-back, reflective program on New Year’s Day.

Headlining the debut lineup are global electronic heavyweights Underworld, bringing their legendary sound to the NYE stage, joined by Maribou State and Berlioz on New Year’s Day. The program is stacked with international names and local favourites, including Carl Cox with a special NYE countdown set, alongside Confidence Man, Joy Crookes, Santigold, Marc Rebillet, Glass Beams, Bradley Zero, Ross From Friends presenting Bubble Love, and Tornado Wallace.
Audiences can also look forward to sets from Sam Gellaitry, The Preatures, Harvey Sutherland, Roza Terenzi, Emma-Jean Thackray and a diverse mix of rising talents and selectors ensuring the party runs deep across genres.
Ticket options include two-day passes, single-day entry and VIP packages, with presale access starting Monday 15 September at 12pm. Early birds can secure tickets from $149.90 before first release pricing takes effect from Tuesday 16 September.
More than just another festival, New Year’s at the Bowl aims to become a fixture on Melbourne’s cultural calendar, combining the city’s rich music identity with a setting that’s both central and scenic.
