Meg Washington is set to take her acclaimed album GEM back to audiences nationwide, announcing a 23-date Natural Beauty tour that will bring her intimate solo performances to some of Australia’s most striking regional and remote locations. The tour, named after her latest single released today, follows a wave of critical praise and recent award recognition for the four-time ARIA winner.
Presented by Craft Music, the tour will run from February to May 2026. In Victoria, it will take her to Queenscliff, Portland, Main Ridge, St Kilda and Sale.
Fans can expect Washington at her most stripped back: alone at the piano, delivering the soaring melodies and lyrical focus that have defined her songwriting over five albums. Each performance will be shaped in the moment, with setlists guided by the energy shared between the artist and the audience.

“I grew up singing in jazz clubs, so these intimate solo shows feel so right to me,” Washington says. “I love to improvise, and these shows are the perfect chance.”
Her new single, also titled Natural Beauty, sits at the centre of GEM and offers a glimpse into the reflective, gently rebellious tone of the album.
“’Natural Beauty’ is the song at the heart of GEM. It took a long time to write. It’s the only piano song on the album and is written as a sort of list of various complaints I have about being an artist inside a capitalistic world,” she says. “I never imagined I would use ‘superannuation’ as a lyric, but the songs always find a way to startle me.”
The announcement caps off a landmark month for Washington, who recently won Best Original Song Composed for the Screen at the 2025 Screen Music Awards for “Dream On” from How to Make Gravy. She also earned a Double J Australian Artist of the Year nomination and an ARIA nod for Best Adult Contemporary Album for GEM.
Tickets are available from www.meganwashington.com from 11.00am AEDT on November 18.
