Spin Doctors are heading back Down Under, marking 35 years since their breakout album Pocket Full of Kryptonite with a full Australian and New Zealand tour in May 2026. It is the band’s first visit since 1993, and they are making up for lost time with a run that stretches from major capitals to regional stops and a long overdue debut in New Zealand.
Their 1991 album was a defining alt rock moment, topping the charts in Australia and New Zealand and reaching #3 in the US. Singles Two Princes and Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong became worldwide staples, cementing Spin Doctors as one of the early 90s most recognisable acts.
Frontman Chris Barron said the return has been a long time coming. “I lived in Australia when I was a kid, and I’m friends with Dave Gleeson of Screaming Jets. It’s been something like 30 years since we played Australia, and we’ve never played New Zealand! Way too long! What have we been thinking?!? I’m beside myself with anticipation. I can’t wait to relive good memories, see old and new friends, and rock Pocketful Of Kryptonite!!!”
Victorian fans will be able to catch them at The Story House in Geelong on Friday 15 May 2026 and at the Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 16 May 2026.
Pre sale tickets are available from 10am AEDT on Tuesday 2 December, with general sales opening at 10am AEDT on Thursday 4 December. Full ticketing information is available at destroyalllines.com.
