Sunk Loto are back on the road this August, bringing their long awaited return to stages across the country, including a stop at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on 14 August.
The Gold Coast band will headline a short run of shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, marking their first performances since 2023 and continuing a comeback that has reignited interest in one of Australia’s defining heavy acts of the early 2000s.

Once a staple of the local alternative scene, Sunk Loto built their reputation alongside international heavyweights like Sevendust, Korn and Deftones. After disbanding in 2007, they remained absent for more than a decade before returning in 2022 with sold out national tours that proved their audience had not gone anywhere.
Their latest chapter continues with the release of new single Dead Shadows on May 8, accompanied by a full band performance video filmed by videographer Colin Jeffs. It marks the first official video from the band in over 20 years and follows their 2022 comeback track The Gallows Wait, which signalled that their intensity remained firmly intact.
Of the upcoming tour the band comment; “We’re going to be playing a spread of old and new, songs we haven’t played live in years, our new single and more from the forthcoming release. We can’t wait, see you there!”
These shows are set to lean into smaller venues and close quarters, offering fans a more immediate and high impact experience. With no barriers and a focus on connection, the format mirrors the raw energy that first defined the band’s live reputation.
