The Harry Potter activation at Chadstone Shopping Centre is entering its final stretch, with the centre-wide experience set to wrap up on Sunday 26 April.
Launched to mark the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the event has transformed the shopping centre into a series of themed installations and interactive spaces. Delivered in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the activation has drawn visitors through a mix of bookable sessions and open access displays.

At the centre of the program is the Great Hall experience, where guided sessions take visitors through a sequence of immersive rooms. Participants move through a Sorting Hat moment, complete puzzle challenges and finish by creating their own wand.

Morning sessions have been geared towards younger visitors, while evening sessions, restricted to those aged 15 and over, include upgraded materials and a dining voucher for use at The Social Quarter. Bookings are still required, with limited spots remaining.

Elsewhere, the Grand Staircase installation sits beneath the centre’s gridshell roof, featuring large scale staircases, framed displays and moving digital portraits inspired by Hogwarts interiors. Visitors can walk through the space as part of the broader activation.
The Hogwarts Express installation at Platform 9¾ offers a final photo opportunity, recreating one of the series’ most recognisable moments. In the Market Pavilion, Butterbeer tastings continue, including ice cream sundae samples not typically available outside official exhibitions.

Beyond the centre, Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is continuing its themed high tea offering.
With the final weekend approaching, remaining bookings are expected to fill quickly. Bookings are available via the Chadstone website: https://www.chadstone.com.au/harry-potter
