US punk metal outfit Strung Out will return to Australia this September, marking 30 years of their landmark album Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues with a national headline tour.
The run of shows will see the band perform across eight cities, including a Melbourne date at Croxton Bandroom on 19 September. The tour also stops in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Caloundra, Wollongong and Sydney.

Released in 1996, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues became a defining record for a generation of punk fans, packing 13 tracks into just over half an hour. Its mix of fast paced riffs and melodic hooks helped shape the band’s sound and cement their place in the global punk scene.
Now three decades on, the album remains a central part of Strung Out’s identity. The upcoming tour will see the record celebrated live, alongside material spanning the band’s broader catalogue. Known for their high energy performances, the group has built a reputation for tight, no frills live shows that lean into intensity and precision.
With more than ten studio albums behind them, Strung Out continue to draw long-time fans while introducing new audiences to their back catalogue. The anniversary tour offers a rare chance to revisit one of their most influential releases in a live setting.
General public tickets go on sale at 10am on 27 April. For full tour details and tickets visit https://sbmpresents.com/tour/strung-out-australia-2026-tour/
