Ballarat is gearing up for one of the biggest live music events of the year as Strummingbird Festival 2026 arrives at Victoria Park on Saturday 10 October. With a line-up that blends global stars and rising local talent, the Ballarat stop promises a full-scale festival experience without leaving regional Victoria.
Headlining the event is Post Malone, returning to Australia with a country-inspired set following the success of his latest album F-1 Trillion. Known for crossing genres with ease, his performance is expected to draw fans from across the state. His previous tours sold out quickly, so early ticket access will matter.
Joining him is Bailey Zimmerman, whose rapid rise in country music has been driven by raw vocals and emotionally charged tracks. His live shows have built a reputation for energy and crowd connection. Cooper Alan adds a different tone, mixing humour with reflective songwriting, while Stella Lefty and Dexter & The Moonrocks bring fresh sounds that lean into alternative and experimental country styles.

Australian artists play a strong role in the Ballarat lineup. Brad Cox and Sons of the East lead the local charge, alongside performers like Max Jackson and Sara Berki. Each brings a distinct sound, from stripped-back acoustic to polished country pop.
Ballarat’s local spotlight falls on Lewis Love, giving the event a strong connection to the region. Between sets, festivalgoers can take part in line dancing sessions led by Maddison Glover, adding a social and interactive layer to the day.
For those planning the full experience, on-site camping is available, turning the event into a weekend escape. Shuttle buses from Melbourne also make getting to Ballarat simple, removing the hassle of driving.
Presale tickets are available here, offering early access to the best prices and payment plans. For guaranteed entry, Moshtix Ticket Request opens at 12pm AEST, Wednesday 6 May. Find out more here.
