Em Rusciano is stepping back into the spotlight with a brand new live show, Addicted To Love, locking in a national tour for September 2026 and a major Melbourne stop along the way.
After early seasons at the Darwin Comedy Festival and Adelaide Cabaret Festival drew strong crowds, this latest work signals a sharper, more exposed chapter in Rusciano’s live performance evolution.
Known for fusing comedy with music and deeply personal storytelling, she leans further into that mix here, delivering a show that is equal parts catharsis and confrontation.
Rusciano’s creative output across her podcast Emsolation and memoir Blood, Sweat and Glitter has long centred on pulling apart expectations placed on women. Addicted To Love continues that thread, zeroing in on the lifelong conditioning around relationships, validation and the idea that fulfilment must come from somewhere else.
Rather than offering resolution, the show sits in the messy aftermath, exploring what it looks like to rebuild when familiar narratives fall away. It is loud, funny and at times confronting, capturing a moment where many are questioning the scripts they have been handed about love, identity and success.
“This show is for anyone who has left a relationship, a job, or a version of themselves… and thought, what the f*ck do I do now?”
With a full band behind her and her trademark mix of humour and honesty out front, Rusciano turns that question into a shared experience. The result is a night that feels less like traditional theatre and more like a collective release.
Melbourne audiences can catch the show at the Palais Theatre on Friday 18 September 2026, with additional performances scheduled in Newcastle, Thirroul and Sydney, and more dates to come.
