One of Melbourne’s favourite Italian sandwich destinations is marking a major milestone by bringing back the price that started it all.
Saluministi is celebrating 10 years since opening its first permanent store in Docklands by offering its iconic Porchetta Panino for its original 2016 price of just $12, down from its usual $22, for two days only.
Available on Thursday 23 July and Friday 24 July, the anniversary offer will be available across all three Saluministi locations in Docklands, Melbourne Quarter and Flinders Lane.
The special promotion pays tribute to the very first panino served when founders Peter Mastro and Frank Bressi opened the Docklands store a decade ago. Since then, the Porchetta Panino has become the deli’s signature dish, earning a loyal following with its combination of hand-rolled free-range roast pork, asiago, rocket and fennel salad served in house-made focaccia.
To mark the occasion, every anniversary panino will be wrapped in specially designed Grazie paper featuring a handwritten love letter from the Saluministi family to Melbourne, thanking customers for supporting the business over the past 10 years.
“Reaching 10 years in Docklands is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said co-founder Peter Mastro. “Melbourne has backed us from day one, and we’ve met some amazing people along the way. Bringing our Porchetta Panino back to its original 2016 price isn’t a promotion, it’s simply our way of saying thank you for ten incredible years of support.”
From a single Docklands shopfront to multiple CBD locations, Saluministi has become a go-to destination for authentic Italian sandwiches and traditional flavours, with the anniversary offering a delicious way to celebrate its journey.
