One of Melbourne’s most popular Pilates brands is expanding to Bayside, with Love Athletica set to open a flagship-style studio in Brighton later this year.
Opening in spring 2026, the new two-storey studio will be the brand’s first location on Church Street, transforming the former Jaggad site into a dedicated wellness destination. Designed to deliver a premium fitness experience, the custom-built space will feature a 15-bed Reformer Pilates studio and a 29-mat infrared Hot Mat room, offering classes seven days a week.

The Brighton studio will deliver Love Athletica’s signature timetable of 45 and 50-minute sessions, including Athletic Reformer, Hot Mat Pilates, Hot Functional Strength, Hot Flow Yoga and Warm Yin Yoga. The workouts are designed to suit everyone from beginners through to experienced members, with an emphasis on progressive training and expert instruction.
Beyond the workout, the studio has been designed as a complete wellness experience. Members will have access to luxury shower facilities with complimentary towels, a vanity bar, filtered water stations, secure lockers and Love Athletica’s signature post-class ritual of complimentary hot and iced tea.
Founded in Melbourne, Love Athletica has built a loyal following since opening its first studio in Hawthorn East in 2018. The Brighton expansion marks another milestone for the growing brand as it brings its community-focused approach to one of Melbourne’s most fitness-conscious suburbs.

Founder Caroline Knipe said Melbourne’s strong Pilates culture made Brighton a natural next step, with the new studio focused on thoughtful programming, welcoming instructors and creating an environment where members genuinely look forward to training.
Love Athletica Brighton is expected to become a new wellness hub for Bayside, with opening dates, membership pricing and launch celebrations to be announced in the coming months.
