Explore the State Apartments, historic grounds, and a diverse program of free performances and activities at Victoria’s Government House on its annual Open Day on 26 January 2024. Throughout the day, immerse yourself in an array of Victorian talent and acts providing family-friendly entertainment on the beautiful Western Lawn.
Engage in a variety of activities and displays, including live music and dance, free children’s activities, self-guided tours of the State Apartments and grounds, roving entertainers, food and drink vendors, and sports and community activities.
Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy in the historic gardens, or savour the wide range of food available for purchase on-site. As an extra treat, witness a heritage aircraft from The Royal Australian Air Force Heritage Aircraft Fleet doing a fly-over, visible from the Government House grounds.
Entry is completely free, so gather your friends and family for a day filled with fun and festivities. The gates open at 10:30 am and close at 3:30 pm.
