Experience THE LUME in a different light on Thursday nights as guest DJs remix the operatic Italian score that’s part of their current exhibition exploring the life of Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius,
Da Vinci Remixed will take you on an after-hours reimagined journey through Da Vinci’s masterpieces where classical art is blended with modern beats as iconic Renaissance figures are brought to life across THE LUME’s 3,000 square metre space.
There will also be a curated selection of Italian-inspired food and beverages including antipasto platters, cocktails and gelato.
The first DJ to take to the decks will be Melbourne-based Flex Mama on 4 July. She’s renowned for blending genres effortlessly and creating immersive experiences that keep crowds on their feet and moving.
On 11 July Tanzer will take over DJ duties. Described as being “plucked from rural New South Wales and raised in the crumbling majesty of Rome” Tanzer delivers culture-clash disco dramarama and hyper-colour haughtiness with a voice from another dimension.
