The Killers have announced a November/December tour of Australia to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Hot Fuss. They’ll be playing two shows at Rod Laver Arena as part of the tour on 12 and 13 December 2024.
The 12 December show is a Rebel Diamonds concert which will feature back-to-back chart toppers from their extensive career. The second show on 13 December will be a dedicated performance of Hot Fuss in its entirety, with the band promising to throw a few extra surprises in.
The American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001 by Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboards) and Dave Keuning (guitar, backing vocals). Known for their energetic performances and catchy tunes, they quickly rose to fame with their debut album, Hot Fuss (2004), featuring hits like “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me”.
Over the years, they’ve released several successful albums, including Sam’s Town and Wonderful Wonderful, and have sold over 28 million records worldwide.
No strangers to Australia, the band even performed a set at the AFL Grand Final in 2017
Presales start Tuesday 10 September – head to frontiertouring.com/thekillers for details. General on sale tickets are available from Thursday 12 September 4pm local time.
