Australia’s biggest international airshow is returning in 2025 with a thrilling lineup sure to impress aviation enthusiasts and families alike.
From 28 to 30 March, Avalon 2025 will fill the skies with civil and military flying performances and offer captivating ground displays and interactive exhibits for all ages.
The lineup will feature more than 370 aircraft, including fan-favorites like Warbirds and the debut of the next-gen aerobatic YAK110. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the iconic de Havilland Moth, 10 Moth aircraft will be showcased.
Exciting international performances, including those by the United States Air Force and Australia’s own Red Bull pilot Matt Hall, promise breathtaking displays of aerial prowess.
Following a sell-out event in 2023, organisers have expanded the experience with new features to enhance accessibility and viewing for all attendees.
For ease of travel, Avalon 2025 is introducing a convenient Park and Ride option. Attendees from Melbourne and Geelong can park in designated areas and hop on shuttle buses directly to the event, simplifying arrival and departure.
A major highlight is the return of public viewing along the flight line, giving Boarding Pass ticket holders prime access to the action just steps away from aircraft taking flight. Two grandstands named in honor of legendary Australian aviators Bert Hinkler and Nancy Bird Walton will offer excellent spectator views.
