BMW and Opera Australia will present the third edition of BMW Opera for All, bringing a free evening of world-class opera to Melbourne’s Federation Square on Saturday 1 February 2025. This highly anticipated event celebrates the power of music and inclusivity, offering an unforgettable open-air concert for all to enjoy.
This year’s program introduces an exciting new element: a 30-minute prelude performance by the Australian Girls Choir. The choir will connect young talent with seasoned operatic performers, setting the tone for an inspiring evening of collaboration and creativity.

Accompanied by a live orchestra of 20 musicians from Orchestra Victoria, conducted by the acclaimed Brian Castles-Onion, the program promises a captivating mix of iconic arias and timeless classics.
