One of music’s most distinctive storytellers is returning to our shores. Ben Folds, the Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter, New York Times best-selling author, and former frontman of Ben Folds Five, has announced his highly anticipated Ben Folds & A Piano theatre tour of Australia for February and March 2026.
Known for his wry lyricism, piano mastery, and intimate stage banter, Folds will strip things back for an evening of pure music and storytelling. Across eight special dates, he’ll deliver a career-spanning setlist – from solo favourites like Rockin’ the Suburbs, The Luckiest, and You Don’t Know Me, to Ben Folds Five classics such as Brick, Army, and Song for the Dumped.
He’ll be doing two shows in Victoria: at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda on Thursday 26 February 2026 and at the Ulumbarra Theatre in Bendigo on Friday 27 February 2026.

Fans can expect a rare, unfiltered performance, with Folds sharing anecdotes from over three decades in music, as well as his work with some of the world’s leading symphony orchestras.
Folds’ live shows are renowned for their warmth, humour, and moments of unexpected poignancy – often with audiences singing along in full voice. This is the kind of concert where you leave feeling like you’ve been part of something personal, not just a spectator.
Frontier Member presale starts 10am Monday 11 August, with general tickets on sale from 11am Tuesday 12 August via frontiertouring.com/benfolds.
