St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, with American pop sensation Chappell Roan leading a bill packed with international stars and homegrown talent.
The announcement follows confirmation of the festival’s return earlier this week, with organisers promising a milestone year as Laneway celebrates its 21st anniversary.
Alongside Roan, the festival will feature indie rock favourites Wet Leg, genre-bending producer Alex G, British pop innovator PinkPantheress, Swedish hip hop duo Yung Lean and Bladee, and U.S. indie act Role Model. The lineup also boasts Wolf Alice, The Dare, Lucy Dacus, Cavetown, Wisp and Mt. Joy.
Australian artists are set to share the spotlight, with Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, The Belair Lip Bombs, Shady Nasty and Djanaba among the local names taking to the stage.
The 2026 festival kicks off in Auckland on Thursday 5 February before heading to the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and wrapping up in Perth on Sunday 15 February. Melbourne fans will pack into Flemington Park on Friday 13 February for the city’s 16+ event.
“It’s incredible to be celebrating 21 years of Laneway. What began as a little street party in a Melbourne laneway has grown into a summer ritual across Australia and New Zealand,” co-founders Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio said.
“Every year we’re blown away by the response from the artists, fans, and community that make Laneway so special — 2026 is about honouring that history while looking to the future.”
Pre-sale tickets open Tuesday 23 September, with general sales starting at 10am AEST on Wednesday 24 September. Full details are available at lanewayfestival.com.
