Joseph’s Restaurant at Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park will host a Mother’s Day high tea across the weekend of May 9 and 10, offering an elegant dining experience set within one of Victoria’s most scenic heritage estates.

Held inside the historic mansion and overlooking the formal gardens of Werribee Park, the event centres on a seasonal menu designed for sharing. The offering blends classic high tea elements with a contemporary approach, creating a relaxed setting for families to celebrate together.
Guests can expect a mix of sweet and savoury dishes, starting with freshly baked buttermilk scones served with quince jam and whipped vanilla cream. The dessert selection continues with orchard plum cheesecake on an ANZAC biscuit base, wagon wheels and Victoria sponge layered with orchard peach.

On the savoury side, the menu leans into both comfort and refinement. Highlights include house-made crumpets topped with smoked eel and apple, English muffins with spanner crab salad and a range of ribbon sandwiches. Warm items round out the experience, including a CWA-inspired quiche with ham, cheddar and chives, alongside zucchini slices finished with crème fraiche and Yarra Valley salmon roe.
Drinks are included, with free-flowing champagne alongside a selection of premium teas and coffee. Each mother will also receive a gift as part of the experience, adding an extra touch to the occasion.

Set against the backdrop of the mansion’s heritage interiors, the high tea is designed to encourage a slower pace, giving guests time to connect and enjoy the afternoon together.
The event runs across both Saturday and Sunday of Mother’s Day weekend, with bookings essential. Guests are encouraged to secure their tickets early here.
