Australian pop-rock favourites DMA’S are heading back on the road this November, announcing a three-date east coast tour that includes a huge Melbourne stop as part of the Live At The Gardens series.
The run comes in support of the band’s forthcoming self-titled album, due out on 7 August, while also celebrating the tenth anniversary of their debut album Hills End. Fans can expect a special Hills End set alongside new material from the upcoming record, following a sold-out anniversary performance in Sydney earlier this year.
The tour kicks off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 27 November, before heading to Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday, 28 November. DMA’S will then close out the run with a hometown show at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday, 3 December as part of the On The Steps program.
Written and recorded between the band’s studio in Glebe and Los Angeles, the new self-titled album marks a major moment for the trio. Co-produced alongside Grammy-nominated producer Lach Bostock of Mansionair, as well as Jimi Somewhere and Styalz Fuego, the record continues the band’s evolution from indie favourites to arena-ready pop-rock heavyweights.
Alongside the tour announcement, DMA’S have also released their latest single Heatin Park, following recent track My Baby’s Place. The new song arrives with a music video filmed across the UK and Melbourne, leaning into the soaring hooks and widescreen sound the band has become known for.
Fans who pre-order the album will gain first access to tickets from Thursday, 30 April at 10am local time. Additional pre-sales for Mastercard holders, Secret Sounds, Live Nation Australia, MG Live, Live At The Gardens and Sydney Opera House members will also roll out throughout the day.
The general sale opens on Friday, 1 May, at 1 pm local time. You can find tickets via the Secret Sounds and Live Nation websites.
