A one hour puppy party is taking over Crane Terrace at 1 Hotel Melbourne on Saturday 16 May.
Dogs of 1 Club is exactly what it sounds like. A relaxed morning hangout where pups are the main event and their humans are happily along for the ride. Running from 10am to 11am, the gathering leans into everything Melbourne does well, good coffee, community vibes and a soft spot for four legged regulars.
Dogs will be treated to complimentary puppuccinos and gourmet dog friendly snacks, while their owners can grab coffee and pastries from Neighbours Café. It is timed neatly for those already planning a stroll along the Yarra, making it an easy add on to a weekend walk.
Beyond the treats, there is plenty happening to keep tails wagging. Expect photo moments with very patient pups, plus live sketching from an illustrator offering custom pet portraits on the spot. It is part social event, part mini dog festival, with plenty of chances to meet other locals and their equally well behaved companions.
There is also a fashion angle. Guests are encouraged to dress their dogs for the occasion, with a best dressed prize up for grabs from Frank Green’s pet range. Think less casual park look and more playful runway energy.
Adding to the feel good factor, the event will support Lort Smith Animal Hospital, with a portion of café sales going towards the long standing animal welfare organisation.
