Melbourne’s dessert lovers are being called to Dandenong this winter, with Dandenong Market bringing back its Street Feast event for a special one-day Sweet Edition on Saturday 6th June 2026.
Running from 10am to 3pm, the family-friendly food event will transform The Terrace at Dandenong Market into a sugar-filled celebration packed with desserts, pastries and sweet street food from across the globe.
Designed as a one-day-only event, Street Feast – Sweet Edition will feature traders serving everything from warm crepes and fluffy loukoumades to tiramisu, cannoli, Indian-inspired sweets and golden Polish waffles. Visitors can expect a mix of comfort desserts, traditional treats and over-the-top sugary creations spread throughout the market.
Beyond the outdoor food stalls, the market’s permanent traders will also join the celebration with their own dessert offerings and specialty sweets.
Wooden Bakery will serve pistachio-filled baklava, while Café Valentina brings rich dulce de leche desserts to the line-up. Melina’s Bakery will lean into nostalgic pastries and classic baked treats, while Butter Mafia will offer gourmet gluten-free desserts for those after something different.
Elsewhere, Golden Popcorn will keep the carnival-style snacks coming with fairy floss, sweet popcorn and colourful snow cones throughout the day.
Known for its multicultural food scene, Dandenong Market’s Sweet Edition continues the Street Feast series with a stronger focus on indulgent desserts and globally inspired flavours, making it one of the more family-friendly food events on Melbourne’s winter calendar.
The event takes place at The Terrace in Dandenong Market’s Southern Carpark, located on the corner of Clow and Cleeland Streets in Dandenong. Entry is free, making it an easy weekend outing for anyone looking to spend the day chasing desserts across the city.
