Melbourne’s winter nights are getting a little more glamorous as Dolly, Le Méridien Melbourne’s underground bistro and cocktail bar, brings its Grand Jazz Dinner Show back to the CBD.
Following a sold-out debut earlier this year, the experience returns on Saturday 27 June, with The Night Creatures once again taking over the intimate subterranean space for an evening of live jazz, dining and late-night atmosphere.

Tucked beneath the city streets, Dolly channels a 1930s-inspired elegance, setting the scene for a multi-course dinner paired with a live performance that unfolds across the night. Guests are treated to a four-course menu featuring bistro favourites like steak frites and confit duck, before finishing on a theatrical note with a flaming Bombe Alaska.

The return of the event reinforces Dolly’s growing reputation as one of Melbourne’s go-to winter date night spots, where dinner and live music are seamlessly blended into a single experience.
At $85 per person, the Grand Jazz Dinner Show includes both the performance and dining, a format that has already proven popular with locals looking for something more immersive than a standard night out.

Beyond the headline shows, Dolly continues its weekly Saturday Jazz Nights, where rotating live acts soundtrack long dinners and late cocktails in the moody basement venue. The Night Creatures and pianist Jordan Donnelly are among the names returning across the winter program.

With demand consistently high, Saturday sessions are expected to book out quickly, particularly the themed dinner shows scheduled across June, July, August and September.
Whether it is a full jazz dinner or a casual late-night visit, Dolly is leaning into its role as one of the city’s more atmospheric underground escapes this winter.
