British hip hop trailblazer Dizzee Rascal is heading back to Melbourne this summer, bringing his We Want Bass Australian and New Zealand tour to the Royal Botanic Gardens for a special Live at the Gardens performance on Friday, 4 December.
The Melbourne show forms part of a national run that begins in Perth before travelling through Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Byron Bay, before crossing the Tasman for dates in New Zealand. It marks the acclaimed rapper, producer and songwriter’s first Australian performances since his 2025 tour and coincides with the release of his upcoming ninth studio album, We Want Bass, due out on 4 September.

Known for helping redefine British rap with his groundbreaking blend of grime, hip hop and electronic music, Dizzee Rascal remains one of the UK’s most influential artists. Fans can expect a set packed with career-defining tracks alongside new material, including recent singles C U Dance and All Night.
Joining him on selected dates throughout the tour will be British dance favourite Example, UK drill star Arrdee and Australian DJ Swaglord Savannah, whose genre-spanning sets covering drum and bass, jungle, techno and bass music have made her a standout on the local scene.
The Melbourne concert will see the Royal Botanic Gardens transformed into an open-air concert venue, offering fans the chance to experience Dizzee Rascal’s high-energy performance in one of the city’s most picturesque settings as part of the Live at the Gardens series.
General public tickets for most Australian dates go on sale from 1pm local time on Thursday, 9 July, following Mastercard and Live Nation presales beginning at midday on Wednesday, 8 July.
