Victoria is set for a triple dose of high-octane rock when American heavyweights The Supersuckers and Nashville Pussy return to Australia in 2027 for the Superpussy 2 tour, joined by Kentucky cowpunk pioneers Nine Pound Hammer for their first-ever Australian tour.
After winning over local fans with their co-headline run in 2026, The Supersuckers and Nashville Pussy are back for another lap of the country, this time with an extra shot of Southern-fuelled attitude courtesy of Nine Pound Hammer.
Victorian audiences will have three chances to catch the powerhouse lineup, with the tour stopping at Geelong’s Barwon Club on Friday, 26 February, Melbourne’s Croxton on Saturday, 27 February and Frankston’s Young Street Tavern on Sunday, 28 February. The trio of shows will close out the Australian leg of the tour following dates in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Adelaide.
The Supersuckers have spent almost four decades building a reputation as one of America’s most relentless live acts, blending punk energy with hard rock swagger across more than 10 studio albums, including 2026’s Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing.
Meanwhile, Nashville Pussy have become crowd favourites on Australian stages, earning a loyal following through their explosive live shows and no-holds-barred blend of hard rock, Southern rock and punk. Their return follows a memorable run that included the final performance at Sydney’s legendary Frankie’s Pizza in 2022 and last year’s tour with The Supersuckers.
Adding even more grit to the bill, Nine Pound Hammer will finally make their long-awaited Australian debut, bringing their influential mix of punk, country and rock to local audiences for the first time.
