Geelong’s dessert lovers are about to get their chance to see what all the hype is about, with Brisbane’s cult-favourite Brooki Bakehouse bringing its famous cookies to the city for a limited four-day pop-up this July.
The popular bakery will take over Westfield Geelong from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 26 July, giving locals their first opportunity to purchase Brooki’s sought-after baked treats without travelling interstate.
Located on the ground level opposite Mecca Maxima, the temporary store is expected to attract plenty of visitors as the bakery continues its national expansion through a series of pop-up events.
The Geelong stop follows successful appearances in Canberra, Adelaide and Newcastle, with the bakery building a loyal following thanks to its oversized cookies and social media popularity.
The pop-up will operate from 9am to 5.30pm on Thursday, 9am to 9pm on Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
Founder Brooke Bellamy said Geelong had long been on the bakery’s list of places to visit.
“Geelong has an incredible community of food lovers, and we’ve been wanting to bring Brooki there for a long time. Four days only – come find us at Westfield Geelong,” she said.
