US rock heavyweights Clutch are heading back to Australia for their first headline tour in 10 years, bringing fellow metal pioneers Corrosion Of Conformity along for a run of shows that includes a Melbourne performance at the Forum Theatre on Friday 29 January 2027.
The tour marks Clutch’s long-awaited return to Australian stages and comes as the band prepares to release its 14th studio album, the follow-up to 2022’s Sunrise On Slaughter Beach. Over more than three decades, the Maryland outfit has built a reputation for blending hard rock, blues, stoner rock and classic metal into a sound that has earned a devoted international fanbase.
Joining every stop on the tour will be Corrosion Of Conformity, returning to Australia for the first time since 2020. Formed in the early 1980s, the influential band helped shape multiple heavy music genres, from crossover punk and thrash to sludge metal and southern rock. Their latest album, Good God / Baad Man, was released earlier this year.
While both bands will also appear at Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Festival, the headline tour gives fans the chance to see two of American heavy music’s most respected acts sharing the stage for a full-length performance.
Melbourne’s Forum Theatre will host the Victorian show, with additional dates scheduled for Fremantle, Brisbane and Sydney before the tour wraps in Adelaide.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale from 10am local time on Wednesday 22 July, with general public tickets available from 10am on Thursday 23 July.
