Australian Crawl will reunite with three original members for a massive outdoor show at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Sunday 22 November.
The newly announced concert has been added in response to demand and will mark the first time in more than 40 years that James Reyne, Simon Binks and David Reyne share the stage to celebrate Australian Crawl’s music.
They will be joined by Men At Work, Vika & Linda and Boom Crash Opera for a big day of Australian music at one of Melbourne’s most iconic outdoor venues.
Australian Crawl formed in Melbourne in 1979 and went on to become one of the country’s defining rock bands, releasing a string of chart hits before calling it a day in 1986.
For the reunion show, Reyne, Binks and Reyne will be joined by John Watson, who was a member of Australian Crawl between 1983 and 1986, along with Brett Kingman, Josh Owen, Andrew McIvor, Sean Johnson, Melinda Jackson and Nicole Kurta.
Men At Work will bring their catalogue of global hits to the stage, including Down Under, Who Can It Be Now, Be Good Johnny, Overkill and It’s a Mistake.
The lineup will also feature ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Vika & Linda and Australian favourites Boom Crash Opera, who have released 13 Top 50 singles and five Top 50 albums.
The Melbourne show will take place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Sunday 22 November, giving fans the chance to catch a rare Australian Crawl reunion alongside some of the country’s biggest musical names.
Tickets are expected to be in high demand following the announcement of the additional Melbourne date and are available via www.redhotsummertour.com.au.
