Icehouse will celebrate 40 years of Man Of Colours with a six-date Australian arena tour in 2027, performing the landmark album in full for the first time.
The tour will stop at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Saturday, 26 June, as part of the band’s first headline indoor concert tour in more than 20 years.
The anniversary run begins at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 5 June, before heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, finishing at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 10 July.
While songs including Crazy, Electric Blue and the album’s title track have become long-standing live favourites, several Man Of Colours songs have never been performed live by Icehouse. The tour will therefore give fans the chance to hear the entire record, including tracks making their live debut.

“The band and I are excited to be celebrating the Man Of Colours anniversary with you all,” frontman Iva Davies said in a statement. “We’ve never played some of the songs from the album so this tour is going to include some firsts for us as well as our fans.”
Released on 21st September 1987, Man Of Colours became Icehouse’s biggest album, reaching number one in Australia and spending 11 weeks at the top of the chart. It has sold more than one million copies and won ARIA Awards for Album Of The Year and Highest Selling Album.
The band will also perform favourites including Great Southern Land, Hey Little Girl, No Promises, Don’t Believe Anymore, Love In Motion and We Can Get Together.
Fan club and PayPal presales begin at 11am local time on Wednesday, 16 September, with general tickets on sale from 11am Friday, 18 September. Specially priced $99.90 tickets will also be available across selected premium seating areas.
