Loyle Carner is heading back to Australia this December for the first time since July 2023, bringing his highly anticipated new album hugo ! to local fans.
The album is set for release on Friday, 20 June via Island EMI, perfectly timed with the British hip-hop artist’s headline appearance on Glastonbury’s iconic Other Stage on 27 June. Following his sold-out Australian tour in 2023, Carner will return to perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.
Carner is a critically acclaimed British hip-hop artist known for his introspective lyrics, jazz-infused beats, and emotionally raw storytelling. Emerging with his debut album Yesterday’s Gone in 2017, Carner quickly gained a devoted following for his candid reflections on family, identity, and mental health.
His music blends soulful instrumentals with poetic lyricism, setting him apart in the UK rap scene. He continues to evolve artistically while remaining deeply personal. Carner is also recognized for his activism, championing causes around youth mental health, dyslexia awareness, and creative education.
Fans who pre-order hugo ! will gain early access to the artist album pre-sale starting Monday, 28 April at 9 am local time. This pre-sale will run alongside a Mastercard exclusive pre-sale.
Mastercard cardholders can snap up preferred tickets from Wednesday, 30 April at 9 am local time via the Priceless website.
My Live Nation members will have access to pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, 29 April at 9 am local time, followed by a Spotify pre-sale later that day at 11 am.
