The undisputed queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, is set to make a dazzling return to Australia in 2026 with her brand-new show, Nocturnelle. Presented by TEG Dainty, the international icon will bring her signature glamour and theatrical flair to stages across Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane in August 2026.
Her Melbourne show will be at The Palais in St Kilda on Saturday 8 August 2026.
With Nocturnelle, Von Teese unveils a sumptuous new vision that merges vintage Hollywood elegance with the spellbinding artistry of illusion.
The production takes inspiration from 19th-century magicians, conjuring a world where sensuality and magic intertwine. Known for her ability to transform striptease into a high-art spectacle, Von Teese promises an evening that is both hypnotic and lavishly designed.
“Nocturnelle is my most glambitious show yet. It’s where sophisticated striptease meets the spellbinding art of illusion,” Von Teese said.
“Learning from master magicians and diving into the secrets of vintage magic, I set out to create something uniquely enchanting… it’s the art of the Teese, plus a little trickery, and a whole lot of glitz.”
The show follows Von Teese’s record-breaking Glamonatrix Tour, the largest touring burlesque production in history, which spanned continents and captivated audiences worldwide over five years. With Nocturnelle, she aims to push creative boundaries once again, fusing intricate stagecraft, couture costuming, and her unmistakable charisma into an unforgettable live experience.
Her performances have drawn celebrity admirers from across the globe, including Harry Styles, Jean Paul Gaultier, Olivia Wilde, Tim Burton, and Pamela Anderson. Beyond the stage, Von Teese continues to expand her influence through ventures in fashion, beauty, publishing, and entertainment.
Tickets for Nocturnelle go on sale at 10am on Monday, November 10 via TEG Dainty.
