Multi-platinum US artist Stephen Sanchez will return to Australia and New Zealand this July, bringing The Lover Down Under Tour to theatre venues following strong demand during his 2024 visit.
The singer songwriter previously sold out shows and added extra dates on his last tour, and is set to perform to all ages crowds across the upcoming run. Known for his vintage-inspired sound and emotive songwriting, Sanchez has built a global following with his blend of nostalgic influences and modern pop sensibilities.
Melbourne fans will be able to catch him at The Palais Theatre in St Kilda on 21 July 2026.

The tour announcement follows a milestone moment for Sanchez, who recently made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry, one of country music’s most iconic stages. His performance highlighted the timeless quality of his sound, drawing on influences from the 1950s and 60s while appealing to contemporary audiences.
Sanchez has also released a new single, CHUCK THE MONEY, continuing his evolution as an artist. The track leans into rich instrumentation and explores themes of connection over materialism, expanding the sonic direction he has been developing.
His upcoming album Love, Love, Love, due for release on 8 May, marks his second full-length project. The record moves beyond the retro tones of his debut, embracing a brighter and more expansive pop sound while still maintaining ties to his classic influences. Across eleven tracks, Sanchez explores different forms of love, from relationships to community and shared human experiences.
The album follows the success of earlier releases, including SWEET LOVE, which became his biggest streaming debut to date, and his breakout hit Until I Found You, a global success that reached the Billboard Hot 100 and amassed billions of streams.
Presale tickets will be available to Frontier Members from 11am on 23 April, with general public tickets on sale from 12 noon on 24 April.
