Brighton’s Dendy cinema has had a makeover and is being relaunched on 11 December as the Palace Church Street Cinema.
Located on Brighton’s bustling Church Street—a renowned destination for stylish shopping, dining, and vibrant culture—the newly reimagined Palace Church Street Cinema combines Hollywood glamour with coastal charm.
The cinema’s upgrades include a chic, palm-inspired foyer, luxuriously appointed restrooms, and a stylish bar where even Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall wouldn’t look out of place sipping cocktails.
Two new state-of-the-art auditoriums complement the existing theatres, elevating the movie-watching experience to new heights of comfort.
The enhancements don’t stop there; coming soon, audiences can look forward to an upgraded Cinema Four, the largest auditorium, featuring fully reclining chairs akin to the luxurious setups at Palace Pentridge and Palace Penny Lane Cinemas, set for completion by Easter 2025.
With this “glow up,” Palace Church Street Cinema is set to be the go-to destination for the holiday season’s most anticipated blockbusters and award-season releases.
Upcoming titles include Mufasa, Robbie Williams’ Better Man, Sonic 3, Paddington in Peru, We Live in Time, and Oscar contenders Anora, Conclave, and Bob Dylan’s A Complete Unknown, among others.
To celebrate the relaunch, Palace Cinemas has an exclusive eTicket promotion. Movie Club members can purchase five tickets for just $55—available only at Palace Church Street. Perfect for the holiday season, this limited-time deal, available until 10 December with tickets valid through 1 April 2025.
