Get ready Aussie Alphaz! Frontier Touring and AEG Presents are excited to announce Japanese, South Korea-based pop group, XG will return down under in February 2025, with Australia being the latest addition to the group’s debut world tour, XG 1st WORLD TOUR The first HOWL.
They’ll be performing two shows only in Australia – in Sydney and in Melbourne.
XG – which stands for Xtraordinary Girls – is a seven-member global pop group known for their distinctive “X-POP” sound, which combines diverse musical influences and transcends traditional genre boundaries.
Formed under the XGALX label, the group debuted in March 2022 with the single “Tippy Toes”. The members—Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Maya, Cocona, and Harvey—hail primarily from Japan and have been training since 2017. XG’s music, including hits like “Shooting Star” and “Left Right”, emphasizes empowerment and individuality, attracting a rapidly growing international fanbase called ALPHAZ.
Based in South Korea, creating their music in English, the group has demanded global attention. A source of inspiration for fellow musicians, creators and fans to live ‘Xtraordinarily’, the group’s extensive fan base has seen them tour across the US, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the UAE, Malaysia, China and Australia.
Their recent releases, such as the album New DNA and the single “Something Ain’t Right”, showcase innovative soundscapes and bold concepts. XG’s artistry and global appeal have solidified their place in modern pop culture
Last in Australia in 2023 for their debut showcase, headlining the Billboard Stage at SXSW Sydney, the group blew fans and critics away with their explosive live performances.
