Justin Rudge, Program Director for the Port Fairy Folk Festival highlighted the Folkie’s strength and longevity as a major drawcard to audiences.
“We have audience members who have been coming to the Folkie since 1977! They brought their kids, and now those children have grown up and are bringing their own kids along. Port Fairy Folk Festival is a beautiful and wide-spanning multi-generational audience, and the 2025 program really celebrates this.
“From contemporary folk artists to the traditional masters, emerging voices to global touring legends, the next Festival over the March long weekend has something for all ages and music-loving stages of life,” said Justin.
