Melbourne Museum is turning childhood dreams into reality with its new Museum Sleepover series – extraordinary after-hours adventures where guests can spend the night among dinosaurs, starships, and museum treasures.
Designed for both adults and families, these premium sleepovers offer torchlit tours, exclusive exhibition access, and the unforgettable experience of sleeping beneath towering dinosaur skeletons on luxurious Ecosa mattresses.

Adults can relive the magic of school excursions with a sophisticated twist. The evening begins with a welcome drink before taking an exclusive torchlight tour of Triceratops: Fate of the Dinosaurs.
Guests will then enjoy private access to Lego® Star Wars™: The Exhibition, followed by a thrilling screening of the new F1 IMAX film from the director of Top Gun: Maverick. The night winds down with gin, jaffles, and board games under prehistoric giants before waking to a hot breakfast and a special meet-and-greet with Trio, the museum’s baby Triceratops.
Families will take their own after-dark adventure, exploring Lego® Star Wars™: The Exhibition, watching Blue Whales 3D at IMAX, and venturing through Dynamic Earth and Dinosaur Walk by torchlight. After a bedtime story beneath the dinosaurs, young explorers will rise to breakfast and an up-close encounter with Trio.

Lynley Crosswell, Museums Victoria CEO & Director, says, “The Museum Sleepover is a unique way to uncover the rich culture of our city and beyond, and to experience moments of wonder that will stay with you long after you leave. There is nothing quite like falling asleep underneath the towering skeletons of creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.”
Partnering with Ecosa ensures guests enjoy a restful night. “We’re thrilled to help families get a great night’s rest on our comfy mattresses after a night of adventure,” said Ringo Chan, Ecosa CEO.

Each ticket includes next-day museum entry, an IMAX snack pack, exclusive exhibition access, gifts, and free parking. Members receive discounts, making this the perfect time to join.
