K-pop’s rapid rise in Australia is set for another huge moment, with BABYMONSTER officially locking Melbourne and Sydney into the Asia and Oceania leg of their 2026–27 Choom BabyMonster World Tour.
The seven-member group will headline Rod Laver Arena on Friday, 11 December 2026 before heading to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, 13 December. The shows mark BABYMONSTER’s first ever Australian headline tour dates and their biggest local performances to date.

Formed under YG Entertainment, the powerhouse agency behind BLACKPINK and Big Bang, BABYMONSTER debuted in late 2023 as a seven-member multinational act featuring performers from South Korea, Japan and Thailand. The group quickly became one of K-pop’s fastest-growing names, fuelled by massive online numbers and a highly engaged global fanbase.
Early releases helped build momentum almost immediately. Pre-debut track Stuck In The Middle broke records for K-pop music video views within 24 hours, while debut single Batter Up introduced the group’s hard-hitting performance style to a worldwide audience. BABYMONSTER now boasts more than 10 million Instagram followers.
Their first mini-album BABYMONS7ER arrived in 2024, led by breakout track Sheesh, which reached 200 million YouTube views in just 33 days.
The upcoming Choom tour is built around the group’s third mini-album, released earlier this month. Named after the Korean word for dance, the tour follows the success of their debut Hello Monsters run, which pulled roughly 300,000 fans across 20 cities worldwide.
Ticketing info for the Australian shows has yet to be announced.
