Friday nights at St Kilda’s Hotel Esplanade have a new flavour, with Mya Tiger launching Dumpling Disco, a late-night dining experience that pairs Cantonese favourites with cocktails, music and surprise prizes.
Kicking off from 8pm every Friday, Dumpling Disco transforms the popular restaurant into a lively after-dark destination, complete with disco balls, Hong Kong-inspired 80s Cantopop and a menu designed for sharing.
Priced at $50 per person, the curated dumpling feast features a selection of Mya Tiger’s signature dishes, including pan-fried chicken dumplings, spicy pork chilli wontons, prawn dumplings, mushroom dumplings and truffle pork and prawn sui mai. Guests can sample a variety of flavours while settling into the festive atmosphere that marks the start of the weekend.
Adding to the fun are red envelope giveaways throughout the night, with lucky diners having the chance to win prizes such as complimentary desserts, cocktails, snacks or even having their entire bill covered.
The full Mya Tiger cocktail menu will also be available, offering drinks to match the vibrant setting. Highlights include the Pine & Pandan Spritz, made with pineapple, pandan citrus and sparkling wine, the Jasmin Gin Sour with jasmine-infused gin and elderflower, and the Frozen Lychee Martini featuring vodka, lychee liqueur and fresh lychee purée.
Located inside the iconic Espy, Mya Tiger has become known for its modern take on Cantonese cuisine, and Dumpling Disco adds another reason to head to the St Kilda venue for a memorable night out.
