Canadian pop provocateur Peaches is returning to Australia in January 2027, with the genre-bending musician set to bring her new album No Lube So Rude to Melbourne’s Forum on Friday 15 January.
The upcoming tour will be Peaches’ first visit to Australia and New Zealand since 2023, with dates also scheduled for Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.
The multi-talented musician, producer, director and performance artist will perform tracks from No Lube So Rude, her first album in more than a decade, alongside fan favourites including Fuck the Pain Away and Boys Wanna Be Her.
The tour begins at Auckland’s Powerstation on Saturday 9 January before arriving in Australia at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Wednesday 13 January. After Melbourne, Peaches will play Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 16 January before finishing the Australian leg at Perth’s Metro City on Wednesday 20 January.
NME has described No Lube So Rude as Peaches’ “slickest work yet”.
Speaking about the album, Peaches said: “I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them.
“Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that’s what it’s for.”
The new record marks the next chapter for an artist whose career has consistently challenged expectations around pop, performance and sexuality.
Peaches last toured Australia in 2023, celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Teaches of Peaches, the album that helped launch her career. That visit included performances across the country, including Sydney World Pride.
